David Nalbandian is a finalist in the ATP San Pablo, after defeating Italian Simone Bolelli 6-3, 7-5 in 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Nalbandian showed good tennis consistently, despite some successes of Bolelli. He took the lead 4-0 after breaking twice and ended up winning the first set 6-3, although the Italian broke in the fifth game.

In the second set, the question was more even, but due to some lack of concentration Nalbandian lost his serve in the fourth game, but quickly recovered in the following.

In the seventh game, with a double fault, Bolelli gave his service again. The Argentine took the lead, but a new breakdown of Italian made things equal.

Both were 5-5 equal, but Nalbandian finalized his third break of the set in the next game and closed the meeting with a 7-5.
