This Friday, February 15th, Asteroid 2012 DA14, 45 meters wide will pass 27,000 miles from Earth, which is about one-twelfth of the distance to the moon, and also within the reach of many satellites orbiting earth.

Scientists didn’t predict a collision with Earth, but it can be a unique opportunity for an observation by experts and fans to study it in heaven.

Aerospace engineers of the firm AGI (Analytical Graphics Inc.) used a software tool, which created an animation showing several variables of asteroid path.

It shows a deep space trajectory presented in the DA14 as it approaches Earth.
