Argentina, February 14, 2013
Federal Judge Norberto Oyarbide ordered the preventive prision for brothers Pablo and Sergio Schoklender and Alejandro Gotkin. The three are accused of conspiracy by the diversion of funds from the Foundation Madres de Plaza de Mayo. Sergio and Alejandro had already been arrested, while Pablo will appear in to Justice in the coming hours.
The brothers and the counter are accused of “crimes of mismanagement and conspiracy”.
The funds were being allocated to the Foundation Madres de Plaza de Mayo, who carried out the construction of social housing under the plan “Shared Dreams”.
“Pablo is going to do the same that he did last time, he’ll have a moment to say goodbye to his loved ones and then he’ll go to Justice” said his lawyer, Pablo Slonmsqui through television statements.
Moreover, he said “I am surprised that there are people who are in the same situation and were never called to testify, such as Hebe de Bonafini”.
The case includes a total of 50 defendants, including Alejandra, the daughter of Hebe de Bonafini.
