Madeleine McCann: ‘The DNA test was negative in New Zealand’

DNA tests carried on a girl who looks like Madeleine McCann in New Zealand were negative.
The officers of the Scotland Yard had requested a DNA sample from a girl who reportedly could be Madeleine.
But the evidence showed that she was not, New Zealand police said.
Detective Inspector Steve McGregor said, “We have received confirmation from Scotland Yard that a DNA sample voluntarily provided by a girl mistaken for British girl Madeleine McCann who disappeared New Year’s Eve in Portugal do not match”.
