Sabella: “We must not lose humility because we did not qualify yet”

Argentina, February 7 , 2013

Alejandro Sabella, coach of Argentina, insisted on the value of humility after the game that the national team won against Sweden 3-2 in Stockholm. He acknowledged that for the matches against Venezuela and Bolivia the list of players “is defined in a 70%.”

“We must not lose humility, we are not ranked yet. Probably the next list will be more extensive than the previous one because of the yellow cards” said the coach to Radio La Red

He added “We must have the intelligence to listen and not be dogmatic but pragmatic. We must have associate game, respect for the ball, the referee, the public.”

Regarding the goals suffered yesterday, Sabella backed the defense and particularly the goalkeeper “Romero is a very good goalkeeper, in which I have great confidence. He is in good conditions, is technical and can also improve some things, but is difficult when the ball is so light.”
