Osvaldo Riopedre, legal representative of the Association, complained about the accusations of President Cristina Kirchner for alleged negotiations with banks against customers.
The legal representative of the Association for the Defence of Consumers and Users (Adecua), Osvaldo Riopedre, reported that that entity suffers a ‘political persecution’ by the national government.
“The Government wants to demonize us, saying we do business against customers. Undoubtedly, this is a political persecution” complained the leader.
Speaking to Radio La 2 × 4, Riopedre said: “from the confrontation I had with the Commerce Secretary Guillermo Moreno, when (the holder Adecua) Sandra Gonzalez was ejected from the ethics committee that he was creating , we suffered a series of persecutions, requests for information and intimations. “
Thus, the accusations of President Cristina Kirchner said that there was a negotiation agreed between Adecua, a judge and six banks, according to a report by the Secretary of Defense of the Consumer.
Finally, Riopedre said: “We are not the only consumer association that make judgments and come to agreements. Almost all of them do, but coincidentally the only one mentioned is Adecua. From confrontation with Moreno, we received many intimations of the Secretariat for Consumer Protection, including many illegal because neither were signed. “
