Cristina Kirchner will present the National Education and Teacher Training Plan for 2012-2016

President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and Education Minister Alberto Sileoni, will present tomorrow the National Compulsory Education and Teacher Training 2012-2016, as was officially announced.
The presentation, to be held at 6.30 pm at Teatro Gran Rex (Corrientes Avenue 857), will be the opening of a national meeting that will be attended by the authorities that make up the Federal Council of Education.
The inaugural lecture will be given by philosopher José Pablo Feinmann, the ministry said in a statement.
The meeting, convened to political and technical representatives from all jurisdictions, aims at presenting the summary of the objectives and lines of action planned for the five years 2012-2016, for all levels and types of education systems.
The second day of work will be held on Wednesday from 9.30 in the Space for Memory, Promotion and Defense of Human Rights (former ESMA), Avenida del Libertador in 8151.
Meeting attendees will participate in committees to plan the annual work plan based on defining how each area will implement national and jurisdictional lines of action included in this document.
The National Plan of Compulsory Education and Teacher Training 2012-2016 was approved unanimously at the last Ordinary Meeting of the Federal Council of Education, held last December 5.
