Manchester City tied with Liverpool 2-2 with a goal scored by Agüero

The Manchester City of Aguero, Tevez and Zabaleta tied 2-2 with Liverpool and could not reduce the difference with the United, which remains 9 points above. The Argentine Aguero scored the equality to the Citizens.

Mancini’s team needed a victory to move on and not lose tread to Manchester United, which remained 10 units above. However, the tie leaves them 9 points below, still far from reaching the leader.

Agüero’s team cannot allow losing more opportunities if they want to achieve the tournament again. Last Wednesday they had lost two crucial points against Queens Park Rangers, when they tied 0-0.

Liverpool remains seventh in the Championship and struggles to enter the International Cups.
