Independiente tied with Tigre and remains in the relegation zone

Argentina, February 3, 2013

Independiente was losing, a result that put them in the relegation zone to start the Final Tournament. However, they could tie the game, but that is not enough to get out of the hot zone. Tigre’s goal was scored by Botta, while Benitez scored the tie for the team led by Gallego.

The match was pending from the Initial Tournament 2012, played and suspended Oct. 29 because the playing field was in poor conditions due to heavy rains.

Now the team of Tolo Gallego must score as many points to get out of the hot zone and to remain, along with Boca, as the great teams that never played in the Second Division.
