Davis Cup: Argentina defeated Germany and will face France

Argentina, February 2, 2013

In a four-set match, the duo Nalbandian-Zeballos defeated Kas and Kamke 6-1, 6-4, 5-7 and 6-2, for the third point of the Davis Cup. Thus Argentina beat Germany 3-0 in the series and advanced to the quarterfinals.

The first point was won by Carlos Berlocq yesterday, defeating Philipp Kohlschreiber, who retired from the match when he was winning 5-4 in the fifth set. The result was a 3-6, 7-5, 2-6, 6-4, 5-4 and abandonment.

Then it was the turn of Juan Monaco, who turned over the match and defeated Florian Mayer, 28th in the world, 6-7 (7-4), 6-3, 6-3, 6-4.

Thus, Argentina will face France next April.
