D’Elia on the AMIA: “Now we are going to find the real culprits”

Federation of Land and Housing leader Luis D’Elia today hailed the decision of the Argentine government to sign an agreement with Iran to proceed with the trial for the bombing of the AMIA in Buenos Aires in 1994, and stressed that “now we are going to find the real culprits.”
D’Elia said he worked “so much” for this and for that reason he and his family suffered “demonization campaigns for seek the truth.”
In his radio Cooperativa, the social leader admitted that it is “the best gift” he received in his life.
“I was very happy when I heard about this yesterday at four in the afternoon by a senior Argentine. It was cause for great joy. If there was a beautiful gift that could make me on my birthday, was the signing of this agreement,” he said.
D’Elia said that in this way, “the Argentine people and families (of the victims of the attack) will be able to know what was the truth.”
According to D’Elia, negotiations between Argentina and the Iranian Foreign Ministry “were made according to the canons of international law” and respond to the strategy of a President “courageous, full of convictions, who understands the role of this issue in international geopolitics”.
