Congressman Cristian Ritondo promised that the “Macri administration would be the City government that most kilometres of subway stations did.”
Moreover, Ritondo said that the current price of the ticket of the subway that the city government increased from 1.10 to 2.50 pesos “is very cheap if one takes it to international standards.”
Although he maintained that “any increase is no friendly as any passenger wants to pay a penny more,” the official justified the rate hike from the subway to “the bus is more or less the same value for those who didn’t have SUBE card” and “there is many people subsidized like retirees.”
Moreover, Ritondo promised that “we will go the government that most kilometres of subway and made stations, being the management that actually improved the service”, although the PRO built far not a single kilometre of the 10 per year Macri promised when he took office.
