Santa Fe governor Antonio Bonfatti said Saturday that “drug trafficking is a federal crime and a responsibility of everybody” and remarked that he could leave “quietly” on vacation because his government “is in the hands of a team”.
After President Cristina Kirchner questioned during a ceremony at Government House for his vacation trip to Cuba in the midst of the crisis on security, the governor explained that the province management “is in a team hands, a vice governor and ministers, so he has the tranquillity to take holidays because his government works.”
“I did not know Cuba and wanted to see some experience in health and education and incidentally took nine days of vacation. Obama goes on vacation, the president goes on vacation, everyone is entitled to take a few days to rest … When you do not choose the time goes. And here things are in the hands of a team, because the government is not just the governor,” he said.
The governor of Santa Fe travel next Tuesday to Buenos Aires to meet with the National Bureau Broad Progressive Front (FAP), led by the Socialist Hermes Binner, in which it will be discussed “the repeated political attacks against the management of the province.”
