Surprisingly the national government repealed 17 resolutions that were taken between 1999 and 2011, through which they applied automatic licenses on imports.

Lots of products will no longer over the approval of the Ministry of Domestic Trade.

It was concretized through resolution 11/2013, published Friday in the Official Gazette by the Ministry of Economy, with the signature of the Minister Hernan Lorenzino.

The Executive Power justified, “Issues of opportunity, merit and suitability in the timely achievement of the objectives set out in the aforementioned regulations.”

Thus imports of many products no longer have to have the approval of the Ministry of Domestic Trade.
