Congressman Francisco de Narvaez said the solution to the country’s inflation is “to accelerate scheduled devaluation”.

De Narváez said, “When the dollar gap is so high, the economy stinks. I like government intervention, but these guys work with a saw not a scalpel.”

“With all the differences I had, Nestor Kirchner would not have allowed lawlessness. He had Lavagna as economy minister, Prat Gay in the BCRA, there was handling of the economy, Moreno was a four of hearts and there was a 10 per cent annual inflation,” the official said.

“We have a problem, due to the inability and inexperience of these guys who think the economy is handled at the clubs. The worse tax is inflation. The 30 per cent prevents income distribution. It is disturbing and solvable. We’re in this mess because of the blunders of the Government,” De Narvaez said.
