United States: Shooting at a university library in Texas

At least three people, including the shooter, were seriously injured in a College of Texas, at 13:08 on Tuesday.

The images of the American television show people lying on the ground and at least one person loaded into an ambulance on the campus of Lone Star College near Houston.

Vicki Cassidy, relationship manager Lone Star College System told the media: “We know there were several shots and we are in a refugee situation on campus. It’s a pretty chaotic scene at this time.”

The shooter was among three wounded in the incident in the school library. Witnesses reported that a man was taken out of the library handcuffed to a stretcher.

Apparently it all started in the library by a dispute between two students.

After a few hours, the situation was under control, and authorities said two suspects were arrested.
