Elisa Carrio outraged by the image of the President ‘in the hat’ in Vietnam

Elisa Carrio, Member of the Civic Coalition (CC) was outraged by the photo of President Cristina Kirchner ‘with hat in Vietnam’ and said, “Nothing is more functional to Kirchner that opposition figures, entertaining trivial issues a society scared to death.”

“Over the weekend we saw killed in accidents, younger drug killed in clashes in Rosario and again deaths of women as victims of domestic violence. While all this was happening the official news was a photo of the president with hat in Vietnam.”

Carrio said in a statement, “in the opposition there’s no something different because there are politicians responsible for drug trafficking in their districts talking about sex and politics, as if nothing happened.”

“Nothing is more functional to Kirchner that opposition figures, entertaining with trivial issues a society scared to death, which begins, dangerously, to naturalize the deaths.”

“We have to forgive the frivolity of the leaders, whether ruling or opposition.”
