A Sarmiento Line train derailed at Once

A train of Sarmiento line derailed this morning while conducting manoeuvres to enter the station Once, five weeks of the first anniversary of the tragedy that left 52 people dead and over 800 injured.

The train that arrived from the city of Mercedes derailed around 9.30 when it was trying to enter the platform 7.

“Fortunately no passenger was injured. Just felt a jerk “, witnesses of the fact said.

At least 70 passengers were on board the train at the time of the incident, which had to be evacuated and came on foot to the platform.
