A video shows Lionel Messi spitting Cristiano Ronaldo in he ceremony of the Ballon d’Or, where the Argentine took the prize.

But in reality it is a joke, by a YouTube user.

The video became viral immediately, and already has almost 20,000 views in a few hours.

The issue seems to account for an awkward moment after the spit falling directly on the face of Ronaldo. Many comments on YouTube state that the episode seems real.
