Former referee Guilermo Nimo dies at 80

Former referee Guillermo Nimo died at age 80 in a hospital in the city of Buenos Aires this morning at 6 am, his attorney and representative said.
Nimo had undergone angioplasty in Otamendi hospital and his condition had worsened since.
The news was confirmed by Guillermo Guglielmetti, lawyer of the deceased.
Nimo began his approach to the sport world being goalkeeper and got to play in the reserve of Huracan club, but then decided to be a referee and he was it from 1955 to 1969.
When he retired from the playing field, he worked as a critic of football on TV and radio, and even participated in some films.
