The subway shops will be handed by the City Government

Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, Buenos Aires Cabinet Chief, confirmed today to the press to all businesses that are found in the underground and have contracts with Metrovías will pass into the hands of the government.

“I am convinced that we will be able to better manage”, the official said.

The owners of businesses that operate on the line A expressed concern since subway service will be suspended for 60 days, claiming that: “they were not officially notified”.

On that topic Larreta clarified that: “the company Metrovías due notice to all merchants”.
