Dakar 2013: Marcos Patronelli sets the pace in quads and extends his lead

Marcos Patronelli, aboard a Yamaha, today achieved his fourth consecutive stage in Dakar Rally quads in 2013, by winning the fifth sector between Arequipa, in Peru, and Arica (Chile), with a distance of 411 kilometres, with 136 special.

Patronelli used a time of 1h. 59m. 30s. to complete the 136 kilometres of competitive total of 411 runners had to cover in this journey.

The pilot from Las Flores city surpassed Poland’s Lukasz Laskawiec (Yamaha) who placed second for 3m, while Chilean Iganacio Casale (Yamaha) was third at 14m. 14s.
