After the President responded to actor Ricardo Darin with a letter posted on her Facebook account, he said didn’t want to “deepen this situation” and that his comment was a “mere talk” to a reporter.
Cristina repeatedly appealed to irony, but the letter was intended to be a friendly character.
In one of the toughest paragraphs, the President stressed that the judges had determined that there was no good faith in buying the truck for which the actor was investigated and arrested.
Cristina Kirchner also reminded that Governor Daniel Scioli admitted he has a dollar account, but had not revealed to the journalists the amount of those savings.
Darín however said he had been cheated. “There is a serious mistake, I was acquitted of that case, it didn’t prescribed by the passage of time and what she says is exactly backwards. I reiterate, the defrauded was me,” he said.
Ricardo said he didn’t intend to “deepen this situation” and that his comment was a “mere talk” to a reporter.
Still he was surprised by the reaction of the president. Darín appreciated the response. “I respect and appreciate that I have answered, but at one point I think there has been a broken telephone,” he said and asked to speak privately.
