Lincoln: Man kills his ex-wife and her ten year old daughter

A man murdered his former wife and her daughter of ten years old in the city of Lincoln in the early hours of Thursday, shocking the town.

Both were beheaded by a man identified as Miguel Angel Lopez, former partner of Roxana Bustos.

The attacker came at dawn by a side window of the precarious home on 541 Arenales St. in La Loma neighbourhood, where she lived with Evelyn, the murdered girl and her other children, a boy of 14 years old and a baby of some months, who was daughter of Lopez.

Bustos was attacked in her sleep, with a stab wound to the neck and then the man did the same with Evelyn. She left the house and ran to a neighbour but no one attended, and then continued as she could 120 meters to the house of a relative. But her body did not survive and died minutes later.

Meanwhile, the teenager took the baby and ran to save his life.

Lincoln police sought the suspect intensely in the last hours.
