A 23 year old will marry the murderer of her twin sister, who is serving a sentence of 13 years.
The unusual and dramatic story takes place in the town of Pico Truncado, Santa Cruz province, Argentina. There, Johana was found shot twice in the chest in a field in July 2010, after having gone to a party which was attended by her former and current partner at the time. Was arrested for the crime, Victor Cingolani, former boyfriend of the girl, who had had a stormy relationship for three years, where according to the girl’s mother, there was domestic violence.
Cingolani was convicted of involvement in the crime, but also Marcos Diaz, who at the time was the current partner of Johana, was found perpetrator of the shooting, to find a cigarette butt at the crime scene with genetic material support with him.
Johana had ended her relationship with Cingolani, and soon after went to live with Diaz, who a week later murdered her. The people said that the two men made a pact to kill her because apparently the girl was with both at the same time.
In addition, while Johana was with Cingolani, the twin sister of the girl, Edith, apparently also had a relationship with the man and both were aware of the love triangle. This separated them and made enemies. However, when the murder occurred, Edith went to seek justice for her sister. But something changed in the middle ten days ago left her home without explanation. Her family searched and found her living in the house of Cingolani’s sister. Days after they learned for the newspapers that Edith was getting married on Friday with her sister’s murderer.
The twins’ mother cast a pall of suspicion over her daughter alive. “I have no doubt that Edith knows more of the murder of her sister. And this makes it a betrayal that is unforgivable,” she said.
