Sabbatella: “The transfer of Clarín group business licenses has just started”

AFSCA head Sabbatella Martin appeared in Clarín offices to notify the start of the transfer of business licenses.

“What we did was make the notification to the Clarín group, we have notified the beginning of the transfer of business licenses,” said the official.

“They can appeal, but it has no precedent situation. The law is in full force,” said Sabbatella.

“The document we sign today is delivering the commencement of the job and the Clarín group opinion that is public knowledge,” he added.

“What begins now is the transfer of office of a law of democracy, voted for more than three years, a law in favor of expression and freedom,” said Sabbatella.

“The transfer of business is for the groups that did not submit a voluntary plan of adjustment to the law. The only one who did not submit any voluntary plan was the Clarín group,” he said.
