Cristina Kirchner appointed Cecilia Nahon as Ambassador of the United States, and Jorge Argüello is changed to Portugal.
Nahón was in the Ministry of International Economic Relations Ministry.
Nahón is a personal friend and godmother of one of the sons of Deputy Economy Minister Axel Kicillof and is married to the manager of Aerolineas Argentinas, Sergio Garcia Gomez, with whom she has two children.
She studied Economics at the University of Buenos Aires, has an MA in Development of the London School of Economics and worked in the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences.
