The Government filed an extraordinary appeal against the ruling that extended the injunction in favor of Clarín, suspending the application of Articles of divestment of the Media Law.

The special appeal was exposed to the Federal Civil and Commercial Chamber by the Chief of Staff, to reach the Supreme Court.

If the Appeal Court enables resource, the government has opened the way to the Supreme Court decision on the injunction.

If the appeal is rejected, anyway the executive may come as a “complaint” to the Court, which ultimately must decide whether or not the case of the injunction.

Meanwhile, all eyes are on the tribal first instance under Judge Horacio Alfonso, who will rule on the constitutionality of disinvestment Articles.
