The seven ministers of the Supreme Court were together for more than two hours to treat per saltum and did not reach an agreement, delaying the decision for tomorrow.
The government boosted per saltum to treat Clarin injunction that restrains articles divestment of the Media Law, but the Court has not yet decided whether to accept this request.
The greatest fear of the Kirchner administration is that the high court on reject it and ask the executive to appeal through a special application, that would extend the deadlines.
Clarin not have to divest and keep its licenses until the underlying issue is resolved, which is held by the trial judge, Horacio Alfonso. His decision is expected in early January.
If the Court accepts the per saltum, the injunction would fall immediately and it should determine the constitutionality of the articles.
