U.S. Drone was captured by Iran

The Iranian authorities seized an U.S. airspace drone that was gathering intelligence information.

‘The plane ScanEagle’, a prototype built by Boeing Co, was collecting information on the Persian Gulf waters and entered Iranian airspace when it was captured by the naval unit of the Revolutionary Guards’.

In November, the United States had reported that ‘Iranian warplanes fired on a U.S. drone surveillance while in international airspace’.

Iran says the aircraft had entered its airspace.
