De Vido: “We need to move forward in the consolidation of the urban distribution of energy”

Buenos Aires, November 23, 2012

Planning Minister Julio De Vido said today that “we are at a stage where we need to move forward in the consolidation of the urban distribution of energy.”

The minister made the remarks at a press conference at the headquarters of the ministry, and talked about the National Energy Plan.

“There were three stages, first the need for development of electric transportation, and in 2003 we were not able to transform energy generated, because links and pipelines were missing and they were built then,” De Vido.

“The second stage was that of economic growth, which had to advance more power generation, and now we need to move forward in the consolidation of urban distribution,” said the minister.
