Israeli Embassy in Argentina: Different groups marched in support of Palestine

Different organizations and left-wing parties marched to the Israeli Embassy on Avenida de Mayo 700 in support of Palestine.

These incidents occur when Egyptian Foreign Minister announced ‘ceasefire’ between Israel and Gaza. The truce began at 21:00 pm in Cairo, 16:00 Argentina, after eight days of heavy fighting and left over 140 deaths.

Convergence Socialist militants and members of the Argentine Committee of Solidarity with the Palestinian People and the Argentine Federation of Palestinian marched from Avenida de Mayo and 9 de Julio to the Israeli Embassy, holding banners.

Demonstrators threw fences and burned Israeli flags.

Representatives of Project South, during the protest claimed that: ‘the Argentina cut ties with Israel’.
