Cristina Kirchner: “Let’s not talk about picket, let’s talk about pressures and threat”

November 20, 2012

The President attended the ceremony of the 167th anniversary of the Battle of Vuelta de Obligado in the town of San Pedro.

Cristina in her speech talked about the national strike called by Hugo Moyano, leader of the dissident CGT and Pablo Micheli, head of the CTA.

“I would stress to Cristina Vanegas and Dario Grandinetti who just won an Emmy because this production just won the top prize on television internationally. It’s product of Television for inclusion, all Argentines did it. That is also national sovereignty because it is cultural identity.”

“I would like to heart that all leaders and those who say they were more concerned with preserving the jobs that is the great challenge of the Argentines.”

“Let’s not talk picket, let’s talk about pressures and threat.”

“I’m going to endure what I have to endure, because no one will pressure me, nor even with threatening or thugs.”

“Besides being militant I’m also a unionist daughter, my mother, that who goes to the court, was almost 30 years trade union secretary; she had to call many strikes but never forced workers to do nothing.”
