Gaza and Israel: ‘A truce does not go far enough to end with the attacks’

November 18, 2012

Five Israelis were wounded Saturday when 170 rockets from the Gaza Strip hit into Israeli territory.

“The Israeli missile defense system ‘Dome of Steel’ intercepted a total of 57 Palestinian rockets. In response, the Israeli army perpetrated 300 attacks in different parts of the Gaza Strip.”

“Since the start of the operation ‘Pillar of Defence’ on Wednesday, some 500 rockets from the Gaza Strip exploded on Israeli soil, while the anti-missile system intercepted a total of 267″.

The Israeli military on Saturday released more than 30 percent of the attacks after committing more than a thousand bombs against targets in the Gaza Strip in the past four days.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced, “The current operation ‘Pillar of Defence’ in the Gaza Strip will continue and that the Army is preparing overlooking an important extension of operations in case of need.”
