Argentina, November 17, 2012

In a ceremony at Parchment, Buenos Aires province, the religious Crescencia Perez was beatified before a crowd of worshipers.

Cardinal Angelo Amato, special envoy of Pope Benedict XVI was the one who led the religious event to a person that dedicated her life to the education and care of children suffering from tuberculosis.

Cardinal read on behalf of the Pope: “We grant to the Venerable Servant of God Maria Crescentia, virgin, professed religious of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Garden, who testified simply evangelical charity, humility and gentleness, which from now on is called Blessed “.

Sister Crescentia is the first Catholic native of the province of Buenos Aires, and was born in San Martin.
