Two congressmen of PRO party in the Buenos Aires Legislature ended up in a fight with shouts and insults, following a regular session, when it was a project to allow bars to be installed in the city’s green spaces, which had rejected of the opposition.
The fight occurred between Alejandro Garcia and Jose Luis Acevedo, two members of the PRO in a hot session, which had as its main topic of discussion around the return of San Lorenzo to Boedo neighborhood.
However, the initiative that led to the confrontation was the bars, which began to be about 11 pm.
At that time, vendors began shouting from the stands against the project that included permission to have “service areas” in at least 70 parks of Buenos Aires city.
PRO congressmen requested a recess pass and withdrew to an adjoining room, where lawmakers Acevedo and Alejandro Garcia had a strong confrontation.
Witnesses confirmed the fact that both legislators came to blows, as a result of what happened minutes before.
Apparently Garcia reproached Acevedo the provisions contained in the draft and also the little consensus with the rest of the congressmen.
