The daughter of rock star Jon Bon Jovi was arrested on Wednesday in New York for drug possession after an alleged heroin overdose, police source said.
Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, daughter of singer Jon Bon Jovi, was found with drugs and unconscious in a room at the university.
The 19 year old was arrested and taken to a hospital.
Police received a call saying she had suffered an overdose, and in the room of the girl officers found drugs such as marijuana and heroin.
She was charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of substances and criminal use of drug.
Then she was released, but the singer manager has refused to comment on the matter.
According to police, Ian S. Grant, 21, another student who was in the same room as the daughter of Bon Jovi, has also been charged with drug possession and later released.
Both will have to go to trial soon.
Stephanie, the eldest son of the musician and his wife Dorothea Hurley, will be in custody and has not gone to jail, but must be submitted to Justice.
