“Maravilla” Martínez will play an exhibition fight to show the world title

After the glory in Las Vegas, Maravilla Martinez has a new date. It will be an exhibition fight against Britain’s Martin Murray on 17 April. The stage was not yet confirmed but it is considering the Monumental stadium, La Plata’s stadium or the Luna Park.

Martinez plans to expose the WBC middleweight world title against unbeaten Murray in Argentina.

Emeritus champion will expose the belt he won after beating Julio Cesar Chavez Junior on points in Las Vegas, last September 15.

Martinez, born in Quilmes 37 years ago, totaling 50 wins, 28 of them by knockout, two defeats and two draws. Meanwhile, Murray, 30, amassed 24 wins.
