Horacio González: “The president did take notes after the #8N”
Argentina, November 11, 2012
Horacio González, Sociologist and Director of the National Library and also active member of Carta Abierta, “think tank” of the kirchnerism, said “the president made an interesting analysis of the protests of November 8″.
“The Government notes the protests, beyond that is viewed with varying degrees of criticism what happened,” he said. Gonzalez seeks to demystify the sayings of some benchmarks of the opposition, who accused the government of not hearing the complaints of the people.
“It is a mistake to think that the president did not take note of what happened,” he said in statements to Radio Mitre, adding “she did it in a less explicit way than is usually done in politics.”
The day after the # 8N, Cristina Kirchner made a passionate defense of the model, and sent an appeal to the opposition: “The real problem is the lack of a political leadership that represents an alternative model. We believe in ours”.
