Brazil, November 6, 2012
Insano, the tallest water slide in the world, dominates the landscape of the city of Fortaleza, in northeastern Brazil. It’s 41 meters high, which is equivalent to a 14-storey building.
Insano, which was included in the Guinness Book of Records, invites the brave to fall down the slide at a speed that puts nerves on edge, getting about 65 miles per hour.
Fall is so pronounced that the entire trip takes only four or five seconds, but absolutely full of adrenaline.
The site of the Beach Park, where the slice is located, says it is the most extreme of its kind in the world. Built in 1989, the thrill ride attracts tourists from around the world.
