Wind and Rainstorm leaves two dead and thousands evacuated

Two killed, over 1,900 evacuees left the wind and rain storm that hit the province of Buenos Aires and also caused flooding on roads, neighborhoods collapsed, power outages and fallen trees.
A 65-year-old man drowned in his own house, in Isidro Casanova, volunteer firefighters reported.
The man’s body was found by his children inside his flooded house, located in the vicinity of a stream, tributary of Matanza river.
The other fatality was a woman in Lanús, where she died “by electrocution when was manipulating an extension domestic cord,” the municipality said in a statement, and reported that she was assisted in the Hospital Interzonal Narciso Lopez.
The information provided by the Provincial Emergency Council (EPC), under the Ministry of Social Development, realizes 1913 neighbors were evacuated because of the flooding, floods and overflowing rivers in the inner suburbs and provincial.
