United States before the arrival of ‘the perfect storm’

Dozens of flights to and from the East Coast in the United States were canceled leaving thousands of tourists stranded by the hurricane that could cause chaos today.
British Airways and Virgin Atlantic canceled all the flights between London Heathrow and the East Coast including New York, Baltimore, Washington, Boston and Philadelphia.
Some of the states declared emergency as it is feared that the storm could be the largest ever beaten the country.
Mass evacuations were taking place in New York as forecasters warned today that the hurricane is expected to bring a “deadly” wave of flooding on the Atlantic coast.
