Economy Minister Hernan Lorenzino highlighted the efforts of Cristina Kirchner Government “to maintain growth in economic activity.”

“Argentina’s economy continues to grow, in a complex international environment, where every day we see how the international crisis continues to bring new negative data,” the official said on the radio.

“This has implications for the entire global economy, but in that environment quite complicated Argentina continues to grow at a slower pace but still growing, still maintaining jobs that continues the consumption,” he added.

The minister also said that “the main thing is the maintenance of economic activity, which is what produces jobs, and when there is no jobs, people cannot consume.”

“That’s what we have to shore, so the president takes daily countercyclical policies,” he said.
