Teachers in the province of Buenos Aires strike for 48 hours

Buenos Aires teachers unions of public and private schools started today a 48-hour strike to demand the reopening of equal pay and improvements in school infrastructure.

The strike was called by the ‘Front Teachers Union’ where SUTEBA, FEB, UDA, AMET technicians and SADOP private participate.

Meanwhile, on Thursday the teachers enrolled in the Teachers’ Union of Buenos Aires (UDOCBA) bring forward another strike, also of 48 hours for wage claims.

The provincial branch of the union which represents private school educators (SADOP) confirmed it will join the strike, so far 1959 is also coming to the laity and religious schools in the province of Buenos Aires.
