Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro said on the rumors of his supposed death, that he doesn’t even suffer from headaches.
In a newspaper article published in Cuban state media, Castro criticized the leaders of speculation about his health.
The article is accompanied with photos taken by his son Alex Castro showing the 86-year-old revolutionary icon, standing near some trees with plaid shirt and cowboy hat, reading a copy of Friday’s Communist Party newspaper Granma.
Castro said in the article: “I do not even remember what it is to suffer from a headache.”
The article was published on the website Cubadebate early Monday.
It is a proof that the former Cuban president is alive and apparently well after more than a week of intense speculation that he was seriously ill.
