“The country can become a dictatorship” Carrio said while thinking about retirement

The MP for the Civic Coalition Elisa Carrio said the country may become a “dictatorship”, when talked about the national government’s public campaign on Media Law.

“The chronic problem is that Argentina has never respected the law,” said the founder of the Civic Coalition, adding that there is “a crisis of civilization.”

The official gave a presentation at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at the National University of La Plata.

Carrió also revealed she is about to retire from public life. “I’m almost with one foot out of politics,” she said to everyone’s surprise.
