Cerati’s family issued a new statement

Gustavo Cerati’s family issued a new statement which clarifies that they are not behind any of the cultural events held in the name of the musician because they have put all their energies into his recovery.

Every day followers of Gustavo show us the affection and admiration professed his permanent support.

Also we’re hearing about many of the different activities organized worldwide, linked to him and his work, as part of these expressions. We share information which, on its own initiative, conduct: joint tracks, paint chips, tribute shows, audiovisual productions, just to name a few, among many.

The family appreciates all the demonstrations of affection so freely made.

However, we feel the need to clarify the followers of Gustavo and the general public that we have not had any involvement in the organization; we can not endorse any of them. Involved would demand accountability, skills and time. All we want to dedicate resources to priority direct welfare Gustavo, who daily requires.
