Argentina beat Chile 2-0 with goals from Lionel Messi and Gonzalo Higuain in the last game of the year for the Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifiers. Felipe Gutierrez scored for Chile.

La Pulga opened the scoring in the 28th minute and breaking a difficult first step for Argentina. Romero was instrumental in saving several goal opportunities for Chileans.

Two minutes later the Pipita Higuain scored the 2-0 with an extraordinary goal after a solo run of huge level.
