Djokovic defeated Murray and became champion of the Masters 1000 of Shangai

October 14, 2012

In an excellent match, Novak Djokovic defeated Andy Murray in the final of the Shanghai Masters 1000. The result was 5-7, 7-6 and 6-3 in 3 hours and 20 minutes.

The key to the game was in the second set. With the first loss and still losing 4-5 and 0-30 down in the score, Djokovic made the “big willy”, risking it all, but won that point and felt the boost to continue.

Thus, the number 2 in the world came over entirely to the deciding set, and that reaction took to finish the game.

For Djokovic was the fifth title of the season, the 33rd of his career, and the 13th Masters 1000. In the remainder of the year he will try to snatch the world No. 1 Roger Federer.
