Basualdo: “Riquelme wants to come back to Boca”

Former Xeneize spoke about Riquelme’s case and backed his friend. “Riquelme was upset because he was not allowed to go to another team and then come back and retire in Boca”. He added “He wants to come back and has a lot to give.”

The statements were done Radio Concepto, where Jose Basualdo spoke of Juan Roman Riquelme. Among some of the things he said, he said “his return to Boca depends on who the coach is”.

“If there is a smart coach, Riquelme always has to be on campus. I know him, he’s my friend and Boca will not be able to replace him. He’s dying to play again”.

“Riquelme was upset because he was not allowed to go to another team and back to retire in Boca. Moreover, the press used to blame him for all the problems that Boca suffers” joked Basualdo.
